STRAUSAK was started as a mechanical repair shop in 1923 but quickly grew to be an accessory manufacturer for machine tools and produced its first complete machine in 1927 to serve the watch making industry. Then in 1932, Strausak exported its first machine, thus setting an important milestone in the company’s history.

Today, STRAUSAK is a subsidiary of ROLLOMATIC HOLDING SA, and continues to build innovative grinding machines. In 2012 STRAUSAK will present the U-GRIND, a new tool grinding center equipped with the latest generation of NUM CNC control.

The company Tschudin is a family owned business and was established in 1947.
It specializes in the manufacturing and development of high precision centerless grinding machines. Located in the south Jurassic mountains, the city of Grenchen, sits between the Jura region and the Swiss plateau. This region has a worldwide reputation for its industrial know-how in the high precision field of watch manufacturing.

In DANOBATGROUP we develop and supply machine tools, turnkey lines and solutions for specific applications aimed at high-technology sectors and at customers with high technical requirements.

Our offer comprises advanced machines ensuring high accuracy, reliability and productivity, designed to be able to handle the most complex machining processes. Advanced solutions for the manufacture of high value-added components which are developed in close collaboration with leading companies in their sector resulting in fully automated solutions and turnkey lines; and advanced services based on the latest information and communication technologies.

In the early 1980s, the industry producing ferrites used in the manufacture of high-frequency current transformation circuits for telecommunications was looking for a state-of-the-art grinding machine to improve the quality of machined surfaces and increase productivity.  These circuits also require an extremely precise air gap, so the sector called upon an engineer well known for his skill in the construction of high-performance grinding machines: Alfred Schlaefli.

The Agathon AG, with headquarters in Bellach, Switzerland, was founded in 1918 and is known worldwide as a leading manufacturer of High-tech grinding machines for indexable inserts. 
Our second business division is the production and distribution of Standard parts for mechanical engineering, tool and mold construction.

The KLEIN company was founded in Stuttgart in 1911 to manufacture machines for valve seat repairing. In 1950 the present centre grinding and centre lapping machines were added. The unsurpassed roundness to be achieved in the centre makes the KLEIN centre grinding machine unique on the worldwide market. KLEIN has been a sister company of HENNINGER since 2007, and so the company complements each other on the market in a customer-oriented manner.

HENNINGER was founded in 1956 by Arthur Henninger andhas since then been engaged in precision engineering in various fields. This includes the centre grinding machines, which are built as standard or according to customer requirements.The more than 60 year old tradition of the family business HENNINGERputs continuity and lived precision in the foreground.With KLEIN as a sister company HENNINGER is internationally present.

René Gerber AG is a family company from Lyss in the Bernese Seeland, founded by René Gerber. Since 1955, René Gerber AG has been manufacturing face polishing and honing machines for ultra-hard materials.In 1990, Stefan Gerber took over the management of the company with great enthusiasm, and has led it with dedication and passion ever since. With considered and targeted actions he has guided the fortunes of the company for many years. He has never lost sight of his goal to generate sustained growth with the aid of new and creative ideas.

SECKLER is global, Swiss- based manufacturer of individually designed automation systems in the field of handling technology. The main activities the development and manufacture of fully- automated machines to mass- produce high- precision components, especially in dirty and wet environments. Components handled by SECKLER systems range in size from one gram to several kilograms, and from one millimetre to 50 centimetres. The company’s 30- years history demonstrates our long experience and broad expertise in special – purpose engineering.
